Disease: Laryngitis, Pertussis (whooping cough), Bronchiectasis, Pneumonia, Acute and Chronic Bronchitis, Asthma, Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Peptic Ulcer, Reactive Lymphoid Hyperplasia, and the Side Effects of Radiation Therapy.

Main Symptoms: Coughing caused by rebellious of qi with scanty sticky sputum difficult to expel, o spitting of saliva, wheezing, shortness of breath, dry mouth and throat, dry vomiting and hiccups, thirst but with no desire to drink, five-palm heat, a dry red tongue with scanty fur, a deficient rapid pulse
